About the "Dokodemo Expo" Project
The "Dokodemo Expo" is an experiential event planned by the Consortium. This initiative uses remote technology to allow children in hospitals to experience the Expo site in real-time and interact with people there. It’s an experimental journey toward building a "future society" alongside children.
The technologies and expertise developed through this project will continue to be utilized beyond the Expo, creating more experiences for special kids.
(We are pleased to announce that the "Dokodemo Expo" has been officially selected as a participant in the "Robot Experience" initiative within the "Smart Mobility Expo" of the 2025 Japan World Expo’s Future Society Showcase Program.)
About Us / Our Team
The Special Kids Future Vision Challenge Consortium is a voluntary organization formed by companies inspired by the vision of a pediatric neurologist based in Osaka. The Consortium's goal is to use technology to introduce special kids to new worlds and possibilities.
As its first initiative, the Consortium plans to provide remote experiences for special kids in 2025 by connecting Expo pavilions and hospitals across Japan using telepresence avatar robots. We are actively working to bring this project to life.
G-ONE INC. (CEO: Keigo Mori), BCC Corporation (President: Kazuhiro Ito), Tokotoko Earth Corporation (CEO: Ai Toda), iPresence Inc. (CEO: Christopher Chris Francis), and AtoJ Corporation (CEO: Masatoshi Mori) have jointly formed the "Special Kids Future Vision Challenge Consortium" (hereinafter referred to as the Consortium) to use technology to help children with limited opportunities in daily life realize their dreams. The Consortium has officially begun its activities, starting with the "Docodemo Expo" project.
